A few words about yours truly
I was born on the 12th of February 2001 to a family of florists. My parents have sung to me, read to me, drawn with me and talked to me about life for as long as I can remember.
Music and art are important as far as I'm concerned. The soundtrack to my early childhood consisted of Depeche Mode, The Pogues and the Sex Pistols - a big part of it still does. When I was 6, I decided to dedicate my life to music after seeing a video of Jerry Lee Lewis playing the piano. After a while, I started convincing myself that my voice had a Hank Sr.-like twang to it and thought I'd start singing country songs. Covering stuff was fun for a while, but after a while I got tired of trying to sound like someone who isn't me, so I started writing my own songs.
I work at the Estonian Art Museum's headquarters, KUMU, as a tour guide and Museum educator. In May of 2023, after having lasted a mere 2 months working at an infodesk in the 9-5 world, I decided to quit my job and message places I liked, asking the question 'Do you think you might need a person like me?' The first place I messaged was KUMU, where I was able to start work as a visitor manager. Having given a few guided tours to student groups, I soon found myself in the role of museum educator, which became my day-job. After getting my guide license in January of 2024, I've been giving tours to people from all around the world, feeling thankful for the life-altering experience that I find this line of work to be.
I’m always really excited to see what happens next.
